Tunstall Healthcare announces an agreement with PPP Taking Care, an AXA company, to become the technology partner for its Personal Alarm Service, delivering Lifeline Vi home units and other Connected Care technology to bring peace of mind to users and their families across the UK.
PPP Taking Care supports people to stay at home independently for longer. This new agreement means individuals joining the service will receive additional support in the form of Tunstall’s telecare technology.
Gavin Bashar, Managing Director, UK & Ireland at Tunstall Healthcare commented: “Tunstall is delighted to be working with PPP Taking Care, bringing together our expertise to provide a quality telecare experience to users who need it most.”
On the technology users can expect to receive, Gavin explained: “A specially branded Lifeline Vi home unit, along with a MyAmie personal pendant with a distinctive grey button, as part of the service. We look forward to developing our partnership over time, introducing new products and services and delivering a more streamlined, person-centred care programme across the country.”
It’s also planned that PPP Taking Care customers will benefit from a range of telecare sensors, including smoke, flood and personal fall detectors that can be worn around neck or on the wrist, raising an alert if it senses the user has fallen.
